INTRODUCING PRECICE MAX (PMAX)

BUILT ON EXCELLENCE:

It's important to note that PMax builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessors, particularly the specifications of the Precice 2.2 implant, as outlined in the Instruction for Use (IFU). While the previous generation, Precice Stryde, aimed for weight bearing between 150-250 lbs per leg, PMax was meticulously designed to echo these standards. With four nail diameter sizes—10mm, 11.5mm, 13mm, and 14mm—PMax offers versatility and precision tailored to individual patient needs.

ADVANCED WEIGHT BEARING CHARACTERISTICS

The primary objective behind PMax's design was to enhance weight-bearing capabilities while maintaining safety and efficacy. While the IFU currently recommends 50 lbs for all nail sizes, our biomechanical analysis reveals a significantly stronger implant. Drawing from our extensive experience with over 400 cases, including 150 Precice Stryde and 250 Precice 2.2 cases, we believe there are improved clinical weight-bearing characteristics with PMax.

PRECISION WEIGHT BEARING PROTOCOL

Based on our comprehensive data analysis and clinical insights, we have developed a refined weight-bearing protocol for PMax. This protocol aims to optimize patient outcomes while ensuring safety and stability throughout the lengthening process. For the 10mm nail diameter, we recommend weight bearing up to 95 lbs per leg, increasing incrementally to 125 lbs for the 11.5mm nail, 200 lbs for the 13mm nail, and maintaining the 250 lbs weight-bearing capacity for the 14mm nail.
